The Teacher Resource Exchange (TRE) is a moderated database of resources and activities created by teachers. Resources are free to use and you can also add your own resources to share with other teachers. Resources by Wendy Adeniji are particularly good, as an example, look at her resource entitled 'French songs for primary children'. |
| Chansons | Collection of really good French songs to use in the classroom. |
| ICT ideas | Excellent ideas for using websites
to promote language learning. Click on 'Useful ICT ideas, effective
language lessons'. For example, how to revise colours, gender, clothes, French sounds through the use of song, see review of Belette website. The song 'Dans sa maison, un grand cerf' could be used to introduce pets, it would be quite easy to sing additional verses where other animals arrive to hide from the hunter. It also shows pupils how to do actions to accompany the song and would be easy to learn. |
| Chez Mimi | Computer games, teachers' notes, vocabulary from Channel 4 and NGfL Scotland. |
| WGFL | Warrington Grid for Learning - Free primary resources including a free French and German course by Janet Lloyd (AST) with PowerPoint presentations, support with new KS2 framework, further links and ideas. |
